My stylish, beautifully made navy and red Linus Sac arrived very promptly after the very helpful people at Cycle Chic answered my very specific question about whether it would fit my bike. I am very pleased with it, bar one thing. The two carry handles are in navy, matching the bag colours, but the over the shoulder strap is in a natural colour, so doesn’t match the bag colour nor the other handles. Slightly odd, but the quality and style of everything else is so good I’m going to overlook it. But if Linus ever start to sell coordinating straps then let me know, as I definitely want a navy one!

I love my new Linus pannier. It it tough enough to stand up to the elements but elegant, cool, compact and comfortable enough to carry on my shoulder when I’m off the bike. I even wore it for the day the other day, when I wasn’t even on my bicycle. I love the minimalist design and colour blocks (I got the red and navy one) and the hooks that attach it to the bicycle are strong enough to keep it tightly on the bike but discrete and smooth – so not painful digging into you when on your shoulder. According to instructions you do have pry the hooks of carefully to avoid them wearing down, but this is fine. I am hoping they last, as it is a great pannier. It fits quite a lot (my change of clothes for the day at work, including a pair of shoes and my packed lunch). If i have all of this in it, I can’t clasp it shut with the magnet clasp, but the contents seem to stay immovable on my ride, which includes lots of bumps in the road and uneven surfaces. I think the long narrow design keeps the contents snug. However if it is not completely full up to the top, the clasp works well and if enough space, the top folders over, making it secure and also more compact. If have bigger loads or more stuff to carry, I use my other lovely Cycle Chic pannier that has lasted just fine with constant use for 6 years and counting. I am also hesitant to use it too much while it’s new because I like it so much and want to preserve it in ship-shape condition. However, it’s perfect for an elegant, chic, but still sturdy on the bike and comfortable on the body pannier. Perfect for both on and off the bike.

Whilst the Linus Pannier (I chose the new navy with contrasting red base) was indeed the most stylish pannier I have encountered, there are a number of improvements that could be made. It is made of fantastic fabric which repels water but the pannier does not have a zip, or a flap to cover the bag opening). In bad weather and for security the magnet fastening on the bag is woefully inadequate, especially when the pannier is fairly full. I was also surprised that the red was at the base of the bag as this is the part of the bag that will get dirty quickest. Surely having a dark colour on the base of the bag would be more sensible? Finally whilst the detachable strap was sturdy, I disliked the fact that it was a camel/beige colour and would have liked the option of a navy blue option to match the rest of the bag.
Whilst all of the above are minor improvements, they would make a big difference to anyone considering purchasing this pannier. It’s still a beautiful and well made pannier and as long as you can live with the shortcomings listed above, it is worth the hefty pricetag

Fell in love with someone else’s and had to buy one for myself…..quick and efficient delivery, delighted with the bag and the overall quality of the product. Have had lots of comments about it already. Stylish everyday/handbag which is great to carry but fixes to your bike too.

I bought this bag for my husband as a present and ended up buying one myself in a different colour. It is lighweight, comfortable to use and looks nice. Quality of the fabric is good and the bag is nicely finished. The only downside is that it is not too big. I can fit my gym clothes and working shows, which is what I need, but if you´d like to fit a lot of stuff go for a bigger model.

I received my new pannier and helmet in good time and am delighted with them both. Not only does the helmet look good but also fits really well. The pannier is a delight, easy to put on and take off and with such good looks too!

I ordered my Linus sack last month. I have been using it since. It has been waaaay overloaded a couple of times, and it has proven itself to be waterproof in the rain. I absolutely love it and wear it even when l’m not cycling. It’s made of durable fabric and l am sure it’ll last long for me. The only thing that l miss from this bag is a zipper on the top. It closes with magnets and when it’s full, l can’t close it so have to use the shoulder strap to tie the hand straps togerher to make sure nothing falls out while it’s on the bike.

I’m super happy with the Linus sac I bought !! I can do around in the city with style and believe me in Italy it’s important ! 🙂 but above all it’s a very practical solution to go to work and bring all my stuff (computer included) without destroying my back. Grazie Cycle Chic !
