My bike and shoe love came together this week with a visit to Tracey Neuls HQ in East London to try on their bike specific range of shoes. I am not shoe obsessed in the ‘sex in the city’ sense – tottering around in stiletto’s is not for me. But I do love shoes; I just like them to be easy on my feet as well as easy on the eye.
As soon as I walk into the Tracey Neuls shop on Redchurch Street, I see a range of beautiful shoes that are specifically designed to work on the bike and I am smitten.

First up is the Fern Bike boots in grey and black. These caught my eye straight away and I made a bee-line for the grey pair as soon as I was given the chance to try some on. (I have already decided these will be my autumn treat to myself!)
Next up, I try a pair of the George boots, these are not my usual style but I have to say I love them! Again comfort is second to none and what surprised me is how flattering they are (I am now considering two autumn treats to myself)
And lastly the classic Tracey Neuls Geek shoe has also gone bike specific and comes in black and camel. These are possibly the most versitle shoes ever, I can’t think of an outfit they would not go with!
After some prancing around in the shop (see instagram pics below) and staying for a cup of tea and chat with Jane and Jess at Tracey Neuls, I very reluctantly swap back to regular brogues when it’s time to go home. But I will be treating myself to a pair soon and am thrilled we are selling them at Cyclechic. As I truly believe these are shoes that deliver on so many levels; comfort, style & design, longevity and of course bike-friendly-ness. What more could one ask for from a pair of shoes?
