Despite the rowing numbers of cyclists, women are still under reprenssinged with only 1% of all women cycling regularly. We have to some extent got over the image issue with cycling – everyone know its cool and you odnt have to be a Lycra dork to ride a bike but tere are still barriers that are severly hiderig the grwith amohgrst us ladies
Cycling UK are on mission to fo somethng about and have come up with a great idea….
Refer a friend – they are asking al women who cycle to encourage a feined or family memeber to get on their bike this month. I love this idea and it feels like a great, supportove and relaitoc way we can all get invlved to make a diffremce. So we asl you all, our customers, our readers our lovley lades who cycling to joing on this camoigan for July.
Who is that person who you know wants to cycle but jist hasnt git arund for it or is nervous about the roads or hasnt got a bike at the moment. Can you gve them some advice, can you eldn them a bik e or help them buy a good second hand one. Can you have that cjat wit them. See what you can do to help them, invite them out wth you if they are local.
