Role: Customer service representative/online retail administrator
Hours: Part time approx. 15 hrs a week (10-1pm Mon-Friday) with scope for more hours from August to cover maternity leave.
Location: The Alexander Centre, Faversham, Kent (with some flexibility to work from home)
Start date: Monday 22nd May 2017

We are an online retail business and we place huge importance on our customers and strive to bring them the best online shopping experience along with inspirational cycling information and advice. We have been featured in The Sunday Times, The Observer and Vogue Magazine as the go-to destination for the stylish cyclist.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for customers, dealing with phone and email enquiries.
- Process all online orders and liaise with our dispatch centre on a daily basis.
- Manage stock: monitor stock levels, order new stock, liaise with suppliers/distributors and update website when deliveries come into the warehouse.
- Manage the waiting list and all the refunds and returns.
- Assist with updates to product information on the website; updating and editing product descriptions, photos and videos.
- Assist with sourcing new product lines.
- Manage customer feedback and testimonials and take part in monthly meetings to spot trends in customer queries and improve the customer experience.
Required skills
- Excellent customer service skills along with a friendly manner and a ‘can-do’/problem solving attitude.
- Experience of working with a websites CMS (content management system).
- Good communicator with an aptitude to learn about a wide range of products and be able to enthuse and accurately explain them to customers.
- Strong PC, Microsoft Office skills and a proven ability to work with spreadsheets.
- Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.

- Photo, video editing skills.
- Writing and editing skills.
- Product sourcing/buying for retail.
- An interest in online retail and/or cycling!
