They say having flowers in a workspace boosts productivity but we beg to differ. Ever since we received the new Cath Kidston Latimer Rose bike we’ve hardly done a thing except admire it and wait for our turn to have a go on it. It’s just so darn beautiful.
Cath Kidston prints are loved by so many as they capture English heritage and present it in hues and pattern mixes that appeal to the modern trend for all things vintage. There is something familiar in them that make you feel nostalgic and we are so glad this pretty print has spread to bikes.
In collaboration with Kingston Bicycles, this sit-up-and-beg Dutch style bike comes with lots of additional features that make it an ideal ‘about town’ bike that is perfect for shopping and day to day too-ing and fro-ing as well as for taking out on summer rides in the country.
It’s a sturdy ladies bike with a basket and pannier rack included so is more than able to carry your weekly shop.
With seven gears (Shimano) it can handle hills and the ergonomically shaped handles and saddles make it exceptionally comfortable to ride.
The wheels have double walled rims and the tyres contain an internal puncture proactive belt making the bike reliable and easy to maintain.
The chain guard and mud guard ensure that you will arrive at your destination without mud splattered up your back or the dreaded left leg grease mark that has ruined many a cyclist’s trousers (and days).
There are lots more details on our product page but from a personal point of view we found this bike really comfortable and easy to ride. At Cyclechic HQ we way prefer it to a vase of flowers.
