Today Cyclechic starts a new chapter. I am thrilled to say we are going electric.
We are partnering with leading electric bike retailer Fully Charged to enable more women to embrace and enjoy electric bikes. We will be riding and reviewing a selection of beautiful electric bikes (or e-bikes as they are commonly known) and giving you the lowdown on a range of brands from Tern, Benno, Riese & Muller, Moustache and Gazelle, along with advice and inspiration for getting started.
To celebrate the partnership, if you buy an e-bike from Fully Charged you get a Cyclechic Deco helmet and pair of Retro crochet cycling gloves for free! Just quote the code ‘Cycle-e-chic’ in store or, if you order online, drop Fully Charged an email or phone them with the code.
Read our first review of the Tern GSD S10, a great e-cargo bike for getting your kids around.
This is a really exciting step for Cyclechic. I started this business in 2008 on a mission to promote cycling as an accessible, desirable lifestyle choice and help more women take to two wheels. And as we enter the age of e-mobility, promoting the huge benefits of electric bikes feels like 100% the right path to be going on. I truly believe they will revolutionise and future-proof our transport systems, and I hope we can help as many women as possible make the transition to this amazing mode of transport.
We know many of our customers are already riding electric bikes. I have had so many great conversations with you about how they have given you confidence and allowed you to do so much more by bike, not to mention being super-fun to ride. And as a recent convert myself, I can attest to that. So please follow us over the next few months as we introduce you some wonderful electric bikes.k
They have a gorgeous store two minutes’ walk from London Bridge Tube station and partner stores in Guildford, Cornwall and Silverstone. Their service is friendly and informative. I felt e-hugged and e-clued up all at the same time. They even have a play area for kids. Book a test ride or give them a call if you want to go electric too.
